Being founded in 1653, the town of Huntington is one of the most historic places on Long Island. Huntington is known for their role in the Revolutionary War, among other key historic events. This website was created in order to educate others about the location and significance of these historical events marked by blue and gold signs that were placed throughout the town. This website was created by Marina Siegel for her Girl Scout Gold Award Project and completed August 2014.
